ABOUT THIS WINE

Our Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir is the richest of the 2013 Pinot’s and displays incredible color, intriguing aromatics and lush flavors that need to be tasted to be enjoyed. We believe that the quality of wine we produce is only as good as the fruit we start with and for our Sonoma Coast offering this is a blend of Dutton-Lorenzo, which is our fruit for our Russian River bottling, and the Marshall Ranch Vineyard in Sebastopol.

Pull the cork and upon first aroma this one is extremely enticing. The nose is full with exotic aromas of fresh cherry, apple peel, crushed raspberry and an undertone of forest floor. On the palate the wine's juicy mouthfeel is supported by fresh fruit through the mid-palate to the mild tannins on the finish. As the richest of the Pinot Noirs produced from the 2013 vintage savor this wine now, but be sure to lay down a few bottles or cases and enjoy how this wine will evolve.  Drink now through 2020.

All fruit was hand sorted and de-stemmed into open top fermenters for primary fermentation. French oak barrels, 25% new and 75% two year old, received the wine for additional aging of 9 months before bottling. 105 cases were produced
